14 - 18 March 2022 was Pi Week at FIS. We held daily Nerdle contests, a Pi recital contest, and two House contests that lasts all week. Below are the details:
This is Nina Martin's winning attempt on the last day of the contest. Not only was she the first to post (5 minutes into the contest) she worked out the correct equation in three moves.
There were a lot of entries for this contest. Some amazing high scores. The highest was Urvi Bansal with an individual highest score of 59,548. She earned 5 points for her house, Phoenix.
The Game of the Year was a House wide contest. Everyone from every year level could participate. This is the effort from the winning house, Phoenix!
A special mention should go to Alex Alcalay who scored the majority of these points for his house.
Here is Gabrielle Li's effort. She could recite Pi to 99 decimal places! She won 5 points for her house Phoenix.
