Workshops and Trainings are on specific topics and typically 1/2 to full day in length. They may be part of a series. They may be onsite or virtual.
We offer two kinds! Credit courses through UAA that adhere to specific deadlines. On Demand courses that are self-paced and always open to registration.
Webinars are virtual, single topic sessions that are short in duration. They may be part of a series.
Learning Walks are when teams or individuals have the opportunity to spend time in other classrooms with a specific goal in mind. They are done at the school and district levels.
KPBSD has partnered with Grand Canyon University to provide paraprofessionals and other staff members to receive scholarship on degree programs.
Consultations are a request by a teacher or administrator for support on a specific topic by a PD Team member. The design of the support is created by those involved.
Outside of district opportunities is a list of opportunities that are not sponsored by the district but may still be of interest.
