Learning Walks
Learning Walks will launch in September.

OUR PURPOSE:
Create a space for practitioners to be exposed different ideas and collaboratively reflect on current practice
Deepen a culture of innovation and sharing across the district
2023-2024
DESCRIPTION: This option is held at a school for a PLC Group or an entire staff with the purpose of sharing within the building to inspire, share ideas and grow together. This can be led collaboratively in the building or by a PD staff member. Resources will be provided as needed.
Select this option if... you want to learn from your peers and know more about the practices happening in your building. Reach out to your administrator! They can sign up your school!

DESCRIPTION: This option is held at a host school and will have a group up to 5 people from different schools attending the walk with the purpose of exposure to practices across the district with the added bonus of earning and sharing within the attending group . The walk will be led by a PD staff member. Resources will be provided.
Select this option if... you are interested in visiting another school in person to see other classrooms in the district! Schools/classrooms visited are selected based on the interests of the attendees.

DESCRIPTION: This option is held asynchronously online through Padlet and can have a group up to 5 people from different schools attending the walk with the purpose of exposure to practices across the district with the added bonus of earning and sharing within the attending group . These are video based experiences. The walk will be led by a PD staff member. Resources will be provided. Time commitment is 40 minutes. These are held the last week of every month.
