KPBSD has partnered with Grand Canyon University to provide paraprofessionals the chance to receive a 15% off scholarship towards earning their degree, and other staff members receive a 10% off scholarship. As a KPBSD employee, GCU offers us many opportunities such as:

KPBSD also offers 40 hours of paid leave per semester when staff are working through their practicum hours when working towards their initial certification or for educators working towards their administrative credentials. Contact our Federal Programs Coordinator, Jessica Scogin, for more info.

GCU is now offering a special cohort scholarship that allows GCU to award a 25% tuition scholarship for the entire program when we have 10 individuals from the same district entering a program in the same week! This can be any GCU online degree program, offered to district members, their spouses, and adult children wanting to go online for school.
