Rise with Reading is a district-wide literacy challenge designed to motivate and celebrate reading among our 48,000 K-12 students. Spearheaded by Superintendent Jones, the program sets a quarterly goal of reading 1,000 pages per student quarterly, encouraging daily reading habits, improving literacy, and building a shared culture of learning. Through achievable goals, recognition, and engaging resources, we aim to build a community of readers and celebrate the joy of learning.

At Seaside Elementary, we like to have fun while we're reading, so we have come up with some challenges for students throughout the year.  Students are encouraged to keep track of pages read at home, in the classroom during the school day, and during their library special time.

Students will be logging the number of pages they read on the Beanstack app found in ClassLink.  A paper log is available to keep track of pages read while away from school, or parents and guardians can access Beanstack from a device.  Information about Beanstack, a blank reading log, and information on how to access and log into ClassLink can be found on the #RWR - Resources page.
