Science

Expectations

We will be exploring a science curriculum that addresses: energy, waves and Earth sciences. This is a subject where students can explore through curiosity and trial and error. I hope this will be an exciting learning opportunity for students.

Your child MUST be logged into their google account in order for you to view items on the calendar.

Homework

There is relatively no homework for science. The only time I might assign homework would be a study guide right before a big test. The only other time homework is assigned is when students misuses their time in class and I gave them multiple opportunities to complete it in class.

Science TESTING

In 4th grade students take the SC READY test for science as well as reading, writing and math. Our goal is to get them proficent in all the above topics so they soar on SC READY.
