Turn in this brochure to the Library to win your prizes at the end of the school year!
Your ELA teacher must initial for completion after you finish reading each Junior Book Award Nominee, and then they must sign if you finish reading all of the Nominees.
You can print this brochure off on your own, or you may pick up one in the LLC. We can also deliver it to you in your classroom - just email Ms. Moore to request a form delivery!
You can also win prizes for being a top reader in Sora! The top 10 students who have the highest Total Time Read will win a prize at the end of the school year.
No form for this one - Ms. Moore will pull the report in Sora.
After reading a book, go to Destiny Discover and log in. Then, go to My Stuff (top, in the center), Checkouts, and then click on the book you want to review to bring up the book's information. Click View More Details. Then, click Add Review (next to the star rating, beneath the Title and Sublocation).
For your review, think about what other students should know before checking out this book.
What did you enjoy (or not enjoy) about it? Do you recommend this book to others? What kind of readers would you recommend this book to (people who like mysteries, fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, etc.)?
You do not have to submit anything outside of Destiny Discover - Ms. Moore receives the request for a review as soon as you submit it through Destiny Discover. Once your review has been approved, you will receive a note in your Homeroom or Last Block class with instructions on how to claim your prize.
As a reward for making an author's day, you can win a prize through the Library!
Simply provide proof of contact with the author (a picture of the letter, email, or social media post will work) through this form, and you can get a prize!
