The American Legion Auxiliary sponsors the Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship to support the children of our warriors. Erskine College Presidential Scholarship Competition

Each year, Erskine College hosts a scholarship competition for high-performing high school students to compete for Erskine's top academic scholarship—The Presidential Scholarship—and on March 20th–21st, 2026, your students with a 3.5+ unweighted GPA can be eligible to compete.
The Presidential Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, room & board scholarship that will be offered to the top two competitors. Two additional students will receive The Soloman Scholarship, a full-tuition award for our runners-up. And because we believe every student invited to this competition has something meaningful to contribute to Erskine's community, all competitors will receive a $25,000 renewable merit scholarship, covering over half of the total cost of attendance.
Our invitation-only competition will take place on Friday, March 20th, and will include a series of individual and group interviews, coupled with a team dynamics activity and a timed essay. These activities are designed to help us get to know your students, their strengths, and the unique perspective each brings.
This event is a fantastic opportunity for your students to both compete for a valuable scholarship and experience college campus life for themselves, as they will be hosted overnight by our current students.

Horry County schools Teacher Scholarship

The HCS Teacher Forum is once again sponsoring the Horry County Schools Teacher Scholarship. The purpose of this award is to recognize and support our outstanding seniors who choose to enter the field of professional education. Blacks at Microsoft Scholarships

This year, BAM will award two US$5,000 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors who are interested in pursuing careers in technology. The scholarships are renewable – winners who continue to meet the criteria are eligible to receive an annual award of $5,000 for up to four (4) consecutive years for a potential total $20,000 scholarship. Up to 24 scholarship runners-up will be eligible for a one-time $2,500 BAM technology stipend based on need.
To be considered for a BAM Scholarship, you must:
Be a high-school senior of African descent (African American or African).
Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of the year following high-school graduation.
Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing).
Demonstrate a passion for technology.
Demonstrate leadership at school or in the community.
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
Require financial assistance to attend college.
How to Apply
Two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be from a faculty or staff member at your school. Letters of recommendation should be original and should not be duplicates of college recommendation letters. (Letters must be on letterhead.)
Résumé. Your résumé should include the following information:
—Extracurricular activities (school and community related)
—Honors and awards that you have received (if possible, include awards that are technology related)
—Work experience
Picture of yourself. Pictures must be in color.
Transcript. Include a copy of your current academic transcript. (Official or Unofficial copies will both be accepted.)
Two Essays.
—In no more than 500 words, describe how you plan to engage in the technology industry in your future career. (If you have done exemplary work using technology during high school, please describe that also.)

Bobby Chapman Scholarship
Deadline: March 13, 2026-Amount of Scholarship $1500.00
• The Bobby Chapman Scholarship is to be awarded to a student who is a graduate (or soon will be) of a secondary school in the Southeastern United States and/or participated in a prior Bobby Chapman Invitational. The Bobby Chapman Scholarship will be awarded each year on or before May 15.
• The student recipient may or may not be a golfer.
• The student recipient must be accepted to matriculate as a full-time student in an accredited college or university offering academic programs leading to the baccalaureate degree.
• The student recipient must have the unqualified recommendation of his/her guidance counselor or principal. The Scholarship Committee will only accept FIVE applications per high school. Please note that these five (5) applications will be reviewed by The Spartanburg County Foundation’s Scholarship Committee along with other applications submitted from high schools across the region.
• The student recipient is to be a person of good character, a person with demonstrated leadership capacity, a person who has acceptable academic promise and a person who promises to make a positive contribution as a mature citizen.
• The student recipient will be expected to maintain a scholastic performance level that advances him/her to graduation. This is understood to be a grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
The Bobby Chapman Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship Program will select ten (10) scholarship recipients per year out of all completed applications received. The scholarship can be renewed annually for four years of the college experience in the amount of $1,500 per year. To renew the scholarship, the recipient is responsible for submitting college transcripts and scholarship information to The Spartanburg County Foundation each year. They can send transcripts and email message to include scholarship name, college/university attending, and student ID number to cfernandez@spcf.org.
Applications and all required supporting information must be sent by the high school guidance office to guarantee consideration. Applications without a guidance counselor submitting Part II on page 6 will not be considered.

South Carolina State Fair Scholarship
Deadline: March 15, 2026-Amount of scholarship varies
I. Eligibility:
A. Applicant must be a full time resident of South Carolina and a senior in a public or private high school or home school in South Carolina.
B. Applicant must complete the online application form in its entirety.
C. Applicant must attach a current photograph (preferably a senior class photo).
D. Applicant must attend a public or private college, university, or technical college in the state of South Carolina.
II. Award:
A. Applicant will be judged based on need, academic and extra-curricular achievement, communication skills, and on aptitude for completion of application.
B. Scholarship will be paid directly to the treasurer’s office of the college or university attended.
C. Fifty-Two (52) $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students across the state to be paid at the rate of $2,500 per year over a four-year period. Students pursuing two-year degrees will receive $2,500 per year over the two year period.
D. One (1) $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Circle K employee or dependent to be paid at the rate of $2,500 per year over a four-year period. Students pursuing two-year degrees will receive $2,500 per year over the two year period.

HCHEC Scholarship for Undergraduate Students
Deadline: March 15, 2026-Amount of scholarship $2,500
Horry County Higher Education Commission awards scholarships annually to Horry County high school graduates who plan to attend Coastal Carolina University as new students or transfer students from Horry Georgetown Technical College. Multiple recipients may be selected to represent all Colleges at CCU. Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled full-time at Coastal Carolina University.
Scholarship Requirements:
New students must achieve a minimum 3.0 high school GPA through the junior year; transfer students must achieve a minimum 3.0 collegiate GPA.
Be a Horry County resident and have graduated from a Horry County high school accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools;
Be admitted to Coastal Carolina University;
Complete and submit the scholarship application to Coastal Carolina University by the published deadline;
Upload a brief essay (typed) or a video URL link describing the student’s academic goals, career plans post-graduation, and intent to study in their chosen major at Coastal Carolina University. Students should also include any particular achievements related to their area of study. Essays should be no more than 500 words. Videos should be limited to 2-3 minutes.

Mary Atmar Johnson Scholarship

The Mary Atmar Johnson Scholarship was established to honor one of Tidelands Community Hospice’s founders and to perpetuate the cycle of caring and commitment to the communities it serves. “Mamar” served on the original committee to bring hospice care to Georgetown. Thanks to her and other community members’ grassroots efforts Tidelands Community Hospice, formerly Hospice of Georgetown, was granted licensure in March 1985 as one of the first not-for-profit hospices in South Carolina.
Each year, Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation awards four (4) $1,000 scholarships to four (4) recipients who are or will be pursuing a career in Nursing or Social Work. The 2026 Scholarship cycle runs from Monday, January 19 till 4:00 pm, through March 23rd. Scholarship winners will be announced at the end of April. The Ezra Lawson Foundation

Ezra Lawson was a member of the Class of 2021 at Socastee High School. His uplifting spirit and personality brought a smile to every person he knew. His passion for God, his family and friends, and the United States Air Force was truly inspiring. He tragically lost his life in a car accident on May 8th, 2022. Ezra’s family and friends organized a 3 on 3 basketball tournament last summer to honor him. The funds raised from the tournament will be used to award a memorial scholarship to HCS seniors who have been involved with athletics, clubs and activities, and/or worked outside of school. Since 1984, the Scholarship Fund has contributed over $300,000 in college scholarships to over 300 deserving high school seniors in Horry County. Each year one student from each high school in Horry County will be awarded the annual scholarship. This scholarship would not be possible without the generous support from Bolton & Menk Inc., (formerly DDC Engineers).
The Scholarship Program of the Beach Ball Classic will award for the 2025 -2026 school year a minimum of (9) $1,000.00 college scholarships to outstanding high school athletes as designated below.
BBC Scholarship Guidelines:
1. Each scholarship recipient must be an outstanding student-athlete in one or more sports for one of the following Horry County Schools: Aynor High, Carolina Forest High, Conway High, Green Sea Floyds High, Loris High, Myrtle Beach High, North Myrtle Beach High, Socastee High or St. James High. Further, the scholarship awards will be based on financial need, scholastic achievement, intellectual ability, and participation in co-curricular school activities, in addition to athletics, and the recommendation of a school staff member.
2. Selection of recipients is to be made without discrimination as to race, sex, creed, or country of origin.
3. Recipients shall be selected by the committee under procedures established by them from the students in the current senior class, whether they be end-of-the-year or summer graduates.
4. Scholarship applicants may be interviewed by the committee if the committee deems an interview helpful in the selection process.
5. Recipients may attend a college of their choice.
6. The full scholarship money of $1,000 will be paid at the beginning of the academic year to the college or university and disbursed to and for the account of the recipient.
7. Application forms are to be made available in each high school. All completed applications are to be submitted online by March 31, 2026.
8. Awards will be announced within a month of the deadline for submitting applications.
9. Incomplete applications will not be scored.
10. Scholarship recipients must attend college in the Fall after high school graduation or the award may be forfeited.

Brower Youth Award
Deadline: March 31, 2026-Amount of scholarship $3,000
Earth Island Institute established the Brower Youth Awards for Environmental Leadership in 2000. We recognize the outstanding leadership efforts of young people with this annual, prestigious award.
Youth environmental change leaders ages 13 to 22 (as of the application deadline) living in North America (including Mexico, Canada, and U.S. territories) are encouraged to apply. Recipients receive a $3,000 cash prize, a short film produced about their work, a trip to participate in leadership development activities, flight, meals, and lodging accommodations.
Post-event, Brower Youth Award winners join a wide network of over a hundred youth leaders across the world making a difference globally.
All applications must be completed and submitted online. Please notify us well in advance of the deadline if you foresee any problems with submitting an online application.
You must complete your own application. Parents, friends, mentors, and teachers cannot complete it for you.

We review all applications and a panel of judges vets all semi-finalists. If you are selected as a semi-finalist, we will request a video call with you, along with the letter of support from your recommender. All Brower Youth Award applicants will be notified of their status.

SCAEP Scholarship

The South Carolina Association of extension Administrative Professionals is offering a $1,000 scholarship.
Scholarship Guidelines:
Must be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in the Administrative Office Technology, Accounting, Business Management, or Business Administrative Field.
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be a South Carolina Resident.

S-STEM CARES @ CCU Engineering Scholarship
Deadline: March 15, 2025 - Amount of Scholarship: Up to $15,000
S-STEM Cares @ CCU Engineering Scholarship program aims to support high-achieving, low-income undergraduate engineering science majors with demonstrated financial need. The S-STEM CARES program will provide a renewable, last-dollar scholarship (up to $15,000 after all other grants and scholarships have been taken into account) to *eligible incoming first-year students who have applied to CCU for Fall 2025 and are majoring in Engineering Science through graduation (up to eight semesters of support). The application deadline is March 15, 2025.

George K. Robinson Youth Achievement Award
Deadline: March 31, 2025-Amount of scholarship $2,500
Gamma Lambda Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity is seeking deserving African American male high school seniors who reside in Charleston, Dorchester, Horry, or Berkeley County to be recognized for their achievements in the areas of community service, leadership, academic achievement and/or athletic accomplishments. Each honoree will receive a one-time award of $2,500 given directly to the honoree upon proof of enrollment at an institution of higher education.
Please include the following documents with your completed application:
1) A resume that includes your community service, leadership, academic achievement and/or athletic accomplishments.
2) High school transcript that includes first semester of senior year.
3) A signed letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor or administrator from your current school.
4) A 250-500 word essay (Times New Roman, 12 point font, double spaced) about what you have done to exemplify excellence through community service and how you plan to make an impact through service in the future. Please include your name on your essay.

HOUSE OF BLUES MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Music Forward, Live Nation, and Living Legacy Foundation partner up to increase the opportunity for reaching educational heights for a diverse range of students pursuing music industry careers.
Live Nation – US Concerts Scholarship Application AWARD: $10,000 • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Supports students pursuing careers in the five core areas of the Live Nation business: concert and venue promotion; sponsorship and advertising; ticketing; e-commerce; and artist management.
Steven J. Finkel Service Excellence Scholarship AWARD: $10,000 • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Established to support the ever-growing customer service expectations of fans, artists and employees within the live entertainment industry.
Tiffany Green Operator Scholarship AWARD: $10,000 • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Established to support women pursuing a career in live entertainment. Fields of study may include but not limited to: live event operations, production, music engineering and/or other related fields.
David E. Ballard Scholarship AWARD: $10,000 • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
Established in the memory of David E. Ballard, with the support of the Living Legacy Foundation, this $10,000 scholarship supports youth who have experienced homelessness and/or have been part of the foster care system pursuing a career in live entertainment. The field of study may include but is not limited to live event operations, production, music engineering, music business management, customer service, hospitality and/or other related fields.
2025 Whittemore Alumni Scholarship
Deadline: March 31, 2025-Amount of scholarship $1,000
The Whittemore Alumni Association Scholarship is awarded each year to graduating seniors who are descendants of Whittemore High School alumni. Students planning to enter an accredited college or university are eligible to apply. The scholarship award is $1,000 for the first year and is non-renewable.
Applicant Criteria
Applicants for the 2025 Whittemore Alumni Association Scholarship must meet the following scholastic and extracurricular criteria to apply:
1. Applicants must be a 2025 senior graduating from an accredited high school.
2. Applicants must be a descendant of a Whittemore High School alumni.
3. Applicants must be enrolled full time in an accredited college/university
4. Applicants must possess a competitive Grade Point Average (GPA) minimum of 3.00 or higher at the time of submission (based on a weighted grading scale).
5. Applicants should demonstrate strong involvement in both school and community activities leadership and/or volunteer capacities.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: To be considered, applicants must submit two letters of recommendation, the Scholarship application and have a school counselor submit a copy of your official transcript directly from the school to the association by March 31, 2025.
