To guide the project and create successful design, several requirements and specifications were established. The following objectives listed below were all successfully met.

All 5 petals must move uniformly.
Petals must be able to support 1 lb when closed.
Bowl must rise 1” when petals are open.
Bowl must be able to support at least 2 lbs.
Specifications
Specifications
A symmetrical track will be used.
The petal subsystem will be made of a rigid material.
A cam will be used to raise the bowl.
The bowl will be supported by at least five points.
