5th Grade Warmup!

This will be difficult at first but you'll get used to it. Review all the hand signs you know: do, re, mi, fa, so, and low so. SING AND SIGN. 

TEACHER: They don't have to go through the whole video - just 3 times at most. Stop the video after the 3rd time. 

Mr. Pace is my actual music teacher friend from Buda Elementary. He's going to help you practice improvising and reading rhythms you already know. 

Mr. Gossard explains more about meter, and different kinds. 

For this video, everyone gets 1 boomwhacker from under the brown table. 

TO THE TEACHER IN THE ROOM: Please make all colors as evenly distributed as possible. Kids can sit to play and sit with the corresponding color on the screen. 

Mr. Pace tells the silly story of Mr. Wiggle and Mr. Waggle, one of my favorites and he does it really well. 

You should definitely recognize this song. If you can't snap, just pretend.

TEACHER NOTE: Kids can play one bingo game, neither, or both. But only the Rhythm Bingo game is worth a smellie for the winner.
