Ukulele

All 4th and 5th grade students will learn the basics of playing the Soprano Ukulele. It is an instrument that allows students to experience music-making with high levels of enjoyment and success. We will learn tuning, strumming patterns, how to read chord charts, and these basic chords: C7, C, F, Am, G7

• You do not need to purchase a Ukulele but if you'd like to buy one to keep at home for practice, we recommend a Kala Makala Soprano Ukulele such as these on amazon for $55. Cheaper ones work well too! Make sure you get a tuner with it. Feel free to bring it to school and I will put chord stickers on the frets and get it tuned up.
