WHO CAN REGISTER: Students in Hays CISD entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.

CAMP COST: $150 per student. This fee includes all excursions, music, camp t-shirt, and bus transportation (provided by Hays CISD). The fee does NOT include lunch or snacks at the field trip locations. 

CAMP DATES: July 15 - 19 from 8am to 4pm. There will be a final concert at 4pm on Friday, July 19th.

WHAT: Every morning students will participate in choir and music classes. The choir will learn several songs which will be performed at a concert a the end of the week. Students will also participate in music education classes where they will sing familiar songs and reinforce musical concepts taught by music teachers in the Kodaly Certification Program. Lastly, students will enjoy a fun field trip every afternoon. Students will be singing for extended times during the day, so a love for singing is essential. Excellent behavior is also a requirement for the rehearsals, field trips, and final concert.

WHEN: Drop off is at 8am at the Hays PAC. Students will sing in the morning, eat their lunch at the Hays PAC, go on a daily field trip, and then return for pick-up at the Hays PAC by 4pm.

EXCURSION: Every afternoon students will go on a field trip to a local attraction. Past field tripas have included laser tag, a movie, swimming, a trampoline park, and bowling.

HOW TO REGISTER: To register, scan the code or go to hayscisd.revtrak.net. Click on the dropdown menu Dept/Schools, then click HCISD and select HCISD-Choir Camp. There are only 60 spots available. Registration will close after 60 students have enrolled.
