CAMPUS FINANCIAL RESOURCES

The following are resources to support students in need of financial resources or help seeking employment:

  • Career Services

    • Career Services can provide career coaching, including on resumes, cover letters and job interviewing. Career Services can also help students find and apply for part-time and full time jobs and internships.

  • Educational Opportunity Fund

    • This is an opportunity for students and departments to receive financial aid. Contact the ASG president at asgpres@emporia.edu for more information.

  • Emergency Loan Application

    • ESU provides emergency loan assistance of up to $250. Students can request information and the application by reaching out to cashier@emporia.edu.

  • Financial Aid Review

    • Income on the FAFSA is two tax years behind; students can request review of that income in cases where they and/or a parent have experienced a reduction/loss in income. Complete the “Professional Judgement Consideration Form.”

  • Scholarship Portal

    • Browse the library of scholarships available for current and future Emporia State students and apply for relevant opportunities.

  • Student Foundation Emergency Scholarship

    • Students can apply for emergency funds one time during their college career. These funds may be requested for unexpected expenses that arise and are not intended to be requested to pay off tuition balances. Students must have used all resources available to them before requesting emergency assistance (including loans).
