OUR LANGUAGE ASSISTANT, ANJALI
Hi folks!
We are very excited to welcome Anjali Thottassery from Alabama (US) 🇺🇸, our new language assistant, who will be joining us for this academic year 2024/2025. We are sure it will be an enriching and memorable experience, both for the whole school community and for her. We are looking forward to a year full of learning, cultural exchange and many linguistic adventures!

In our bilingual lessons, students from ESO are learning by moving! Through the learning stations methodology, they rotate around different activities that help them practise English in dynamic and meaningful ways. 🇬🇧📚
Each station offers a new challenge: speaking, writing, grammar games, listening tasks, and even one guided by our language assistant! 🎧🗣️💬

She also shared an amazing message with her feedback:
I had a great time at ÍES Sierra de La Grana. I would never change this experience for a single thing. The students are great and the teachers are amazing. The class sizes are easily manageable and students are fun to engage with.
I learned so much about being a teacher from this experience and I am also helpful with how communicative the bilingual coordinator Pilar is. I never felt like I lacked information about the school day or even what was happening in Jaen. I felt like I was able to get more comfortable with the help of all the educational community.
All of the information prior to my arrival was amazing and perfect. All the sheets were detailed and allowed me to understand more of what I was doing!
