Happy Friday! We wanted to wish you a happy weekend and remind you of a few important things for this coming week and the beginning of November! As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
Validation -- Monday-Wednesday, October 23-25
Reflections--Deadline, Friday, October 27th
Ryan Craft Show and Goodies Galore-- Saturday, November 4th 9:30 am - 4 pm
Ryan PTSA General Meeting -- Monday, November 13th, via zoom, 6 pm
Lunch and Learn -- Wednesday, November 15th, PTSA Graduation Cords
Senior Scholarship and Faculty Scholarship Deadline -- November 15th
VALIDATION
Our first validation of the year will be Monday-Wednesday, October 23-25. Validation is an easy process where the students show their student ID to teachers at lunchtime, and, if they have passed all of their classes, they are given a ticket for a free Renaissance T-Shirt or a treat! SENIORS--remember that if you Validate all three times during the school year, this qualifies you to potentially receive a Renaissance Scholarship at the end of the year!! STUDENTS--DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR STUDENT ID!!!
REFLECTIONS
Reflections is the National PTA Program to recognize the creative talents of our students. Students can enter an original work or works in any or all of the following categories: Dance, Music Composition, Photography, Literature, Visual Arts, and Film Production. Deadline for entry into Reflections due to the FRONT OFFICE by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27th.
LUNCH AND LEARN
The PTSA is excited to host our second Lunch and Learn this year on Wednesday, November 15th during all school lunches. ALL students are invited to bring their lunches down to the Renaissance Hall to hear about a different topic each month to help them learn some practical life skills to use after high school. This month's speaker will be Kimberly Lewis, our very own PTA Vice President, with info about the PTSA Graduation Cords and how to earn them!! You can start earning your PTSA Graduation Cords as early as your freshman year, so encourage your students to bring their lunch, come have a cookie, and learn about the PTSA Grad Cords!!
RYAN CRAFT SHOW
We are so excited about the Ryan Craft Show on Saturday, November 4th!! Doors open at 9:30 am and close at 4 pm. Come see over 100 Vendors with items ranging from homemade craft items to jewelry to delicious treats! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be dropping by for a visit and pictures as well!! Don't forget to stop by the Ryan PTSA Goodies Galore Bake Sale to support our Senior Scholarships!! (We still have space for a few more Vendor Booths. RYAN HIGH PTSA MEETING--CHANGE OF DATE AND LOCATION
Our next General PTSA Meeting will be on Monday, November 13th at 6 pm via Zoom. We will give our members an update of the year so far, amend our budget, and are working on bringing in a speaker to give our parents some more resources to support our students. More details to follow as the speaker schedule is confirmed!! Stay Tuned!
