This will be my TENTH year at Newton Rayzor as a FIFTH grade teacher.
I believe that all students have the capability to succeed academically and socially. I help children find their tenacious spirit with 'Growth Mindset' to build Agency!
This is going to be another GREAT year!
As I reflect on my teaching practice, I wonder:
1) Do learners have voice, choice, and ownership?
2) Are learners thinking critically and creatively about content they explore?
3) Are learners able to think about how their inquiries impact other people?
4) Are learners given opportunities to identify problems and develop solutions?
5) Are learners be motivated to take action?
Traveling and experiencing other cultures deeply informed my perspective as a child. I earned my Master's in Library Information Science in 2010, and over the last 20 years, I have contributed to the field of education as an:
