Follow the links below to find on-line versions of the texts we read. These might be useful for copy and pasting quotations into your essays or if you misplace your text.
Be aware: there are variations in some of the older texts. For example, some texts might have lines numbered differently or even rearrange or delete scenes altogether.
Furthermore, the poetry we study in class is more than likely online. Search for the poem and poet's name with the word "text," and you should find it.
If you find yourself struggling to focus on the text, I recommend you read along with audiobooks. Keep in mind though that you should also build your own stamina to read without the "crutch" of another voice. Keep in mind you need to read along and still be active, not just letting the audio drone on and on without your paying attention.
Unless indicated, search for audio books on Librivox, a free public domain audio books read by volunteers. Some are very good; others not so much. Hunt around on the site until you find one you can listen to.
For plays, I recommend a dramatized cast recording instead of a single-voice audiobook.

We are using a different translation than what is available online. This might make for interesting comparison.
