6:00-7:00pm at LaGrone Academy

Students must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian

Students and parents only need to attend ONE meeting

Professional Texas Cosmetology Operator License

*Certifications dependent on passing exam scores

25-26 Course Fees:

Year 1- $400

Year 2- $600

Year 3- $800

3-Year Program | Must begin 10th grade

Courses offered at LaGrone:

Year 1:

Principles of Cosmetology (Fall semester) (1 credit)
Intro to Cosmetology (Spring semester) (1 credit)

Year 2:

Cosmetology I (Fall semester) (2 credits)
Nail Care, Enhancements & Spa Services (Spring semester) (2 credits)

Year 3:

Cosmetology II & Practicum (Full year) (4 credits)

Knowledge and skills learned:

Chemistry, permanent waving, hair coloring, haircutting, hairstyling, braiding, etc.
Skin care, make-up artistry, nail care, artificial nails, and pedicures
Marketing and retail
Communication, patience, dedication, business and professionalism
