Meet Shepard Fairey and hear him talk about process

Artist Selection: Students will choose one of the following artists and select an artwork to re-mix:

In choosing an artist, the student will discuss the artist's intentions, media application, and cultural impact. They will also discuss how they will interject themselves into the artwork through remix, not just on a technical level, but personal and cultural. 

Students will create a re-mix using watercolor and gouache on paper. This piece will not be a direct translation, but show the student's creativity in bringing something new and novel to an original artwork or its style.
