We are calling upon all home cooks to participate and show off their talents! Through this online campaign, we aim to advocate the importance of reducing food waste and help develop the habit of cherishing food.
The rules are simple:
1. Look for leftovers from last night’s meal
2. Use your leftovers to create a brand new dish
3. Take a picture of your marvelous dish to win!
Our judges will select the 15 most appealing dishes every week, and the winners will receive some awesome prizes! Didn’t win on your first try? Fear not! Participants can take part in the competition as many times as they wish, so a variety of amazing prizes are up for grabs! What are you waiting for? It’s time for all Diocesans to become master chefs!

A recycling drive was held on the day of Garden Fete where visitors could clean and recycle used plastic bottles, drink cartons and other recyclable materials. Two stalls were set up, one near the tuck shop and one beside the basketball court. School-wide announcements were made every half hour for guests to be aware of our recycling stations. A total of more than 2000 plastic bottles, drink cartons and aluminum cans were collected. Much appreciated to all guests who have contributed to making our campus a greener place.

Through the generous donation from an old boy, our school implemented a hydroponics system in 2019. However, due to the lack of students available to manage the system, it has been idle until last year when the Green School Action Group started to use the hydroponics system as an educational tool for students. After cleaning and restoring the system, the hydroponics system is ready for use. The first batch of vegetables will be harvested soon.
