About : Competition begins in late Fall with written tests. Decisions on which event each student will participate in will be made early in the Fall so students have ample time to study and prepare. Students scoring the highest in our Area on each test will progress on to Area 1 competition in February at the two day Spring Conference where they will demonstrate skills related to their event.
