Book Creator
Access through ClassLink.
Book Creator is an online platform where students create and narrate eBooks using powerful tools. It works across all subjects and grade levels, boosting engagement through creation-not just consumption-while building collaboration and communication skills.
Open Book Creator through CISD ClassLink (switch profiles if you don’t see it). If students don’t have access, submit a HelpDesk ticket. Sign in with your CISD Google account, then create a library to organize and share student work. From there, you’re ready to start building digital books together. Our premium license allows up to 1,000 books per year, and libraries can be archived annually.
The Book Creator Certified Author program is a self-paced course designed to familiarize educators with the fundamentals of Book Creator, including creating, reading, and publishing digital books. Upon completing the videos, participants must pass a quiz with a minimum score of 16 out of 20 to earn their certification, along with a digital badge and certificate of completion.

The “Discover” ideas page on Book Creator is a curated space where educators and students can explore ready-made book examples, templates, and lesson ideas to spark creativity. It allows users to browse collections by grade level, subject, or theme, search for specific content, and view complete books for inspiration. Many of the resources are remixable, meaning you can copy and adapt them for your own classroom, making it a practical hub for finding engaging, customizable activities and project ideas.
