Add images, including photographs, just like you add videos - click the blue plus button. Images can be any duration, as long or as short as you want them to be.
Video editing is arranged around “tracks.” The default view of your audio is the thin blue line under the video previews in your timeline.
To edit your audio better, click the Expand Audio button in the lower left, to reveal the audio associated with your video clip. You can now shorten or lengthen the audio separately from the video clip.
Use the Add Media button to add any music to your project. The music will be added to a new audio track.
To adjust the volume of the clip’s audio, or to mute it:
1
Click on the clip to select it
2
In the upper right menu, click the Audio button
3
Under Basic, adjust the clip volume up or down, or mute
If you have someone talking, but also want music in the background, you can use a feature called “ducking,” which is when the volume of the music drops when someone is talking. Premiere Rush automatically identifies the type of audio in your timeline and displays icons for voice, music, and other formats, to automate this:
1
In the Timeline, select your music track.
2
In the upper right menu, click the Audio button
3
Click the check-box next to Auto Duck
