WELCOME! We look forward to meeting each of you in a few short weeks. We have been preparing for your first few weeks of onboarding and are excited to partner with you on your graduate student journey in University Housing & Dining. Our campus has experienced and continues to experience change, progress, and challenges. The next two years will be exciting and challenging, full of discovery and exploration, and we are here to support you along the way. Have a great rest of your summer break.

GREETINGS! I am eager to welcome you or welcome you back to campus as we prepare to begin another exciting year. This year will hold great significance for University Housing & Dining as we navigate these times with our staff and students who are truly at the core of the residential experience. Your experience this year will be shaped by a focus on high quality supervision, mentorship and development as we demonstrate our investment in you and equip you appropriately for your roles. In turn, we will expect that you will make significant contributions to students’ residential experience through the implementation of REM – our residential experience model – as we enhance their learning and growth. Hello all!

Greetings and welcome to Tiger Town! Whether you are a new or returning staff member you can know that University Housing & Dining is your Clemson Home.

I always maintain that we are among the luckiest people on campus. When you add up our full-time and student staff members, the University Housing & Dining team is almost 1,000 people strong. Between our residential communities and our retail & residential dining venues we touch a VERY large percentage of the student body on a daily basis. Who else gets the opportunity to live in such close connection to our students?

You have come to be here during a time when we are building, growing and focusing on the future. I hope that you take the time to see part of this bigger picture and to participate in the conversation.

Please know that your daily work is essential to our overall success. If there is anything that I as your Executive Director can do to assist or support you, you have only to ask.
