Clemson ASME has a wide variety of design teams that members can be a part of. The goal of incorporating this is to provide another opportunity for ME Students to gain hands-on experience outside of the classroom.
If you are already a member of ASME and would like to become a part of one of these design teams, email either the current design team leader or asme@g.clemson.edu for more information. Emails for each of the team leaders can be found on their project's page. Some examples of past teams include DBF, FSAE, Baja, CURE and CI opportunities.

Design, Build, Fly (DBF)
Design, Build, Fly is an engineering design team that competes in AIAA Design, Build, Fly competition. The competition is to design, build, and fly an RC airplane that best meets the challenge rules of the current year.
There are many sub-teams, including Manufacturing, Aerodynamics, Structure, Electronics, Business, and Testing. Students from all majors and backgrounds are encouraged to join! Whether you have been building model airplanes for your whole life or have never seen one before, we have a spot for you and will teach you what you need to know to be successful!
