Peer Learning Support Programs
We Are Your Partner in Supporting Student Success!
Our Mission: To foster students’ active engagement in their own learning process with peer-led study sessions that not only support content proficiency but also focus on helping students form positive academic relationships and equipping them with lifelong success skills.
Our Vision: To be integrated as an essential learning partner within each course we support.
What this would mean in practice:
When students register for the course, they automatically add peer learning support sessions to their calendar as part of their study plan.
Instructors and peer leaders work as a team and strategically refer students to each other, understanding that each of them has unique skills and experiences that support student success.
Collaborators across campus understand our mission and communicate with us as they plan updates and anticipate obstacles for student learning.
Peer leaders see their work experience as a seamless part of their own professional development and encourage others to participate.
