Thank you for visiting our church's website. The Federal Way Church is a church made up of a diverse group of people from different nations and backgrounds, united by our desire to know Christ and to make Him known. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever. He still reveals Himself to the world by the holy scriptures and by the working of His Holy Spirit. While we are not perfect, we serve a God who loves us perfectly. He desires to bring love, joy, and peace to all people if we will receive Him. He has invited us to join Him in His mission to put our love into action.

Be a peddler of hope.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, Hebrews 6:19
As a minister of the gospel, I have had many occasions working with people who were in hopeless situations. When a person is faced with certain death or when disaster or loss is imminent what can you do to encourage a person? What do we have to offer when all is lost? The scriptures tell us that if in this world only we have hope, we are of all men most to be pitied. We who have forsaken this present world systems so that we may gain the promises of the world to come look for hope in God. God has given us His word that serves as an anchor for our souls. It keeps us rooted and grounded and trusting in His promises to us knowing that they all His promises will be fulfilled in their season. Jesus is the guarantor who watches over every promise to see that it is fulfilled.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus comforted each church that was being persecuted and going through trials and tribulations with His promises. Those who were being persecuted were promised that if they were faithful unto death they would receive the crown of life. Those who overcame false prophets were promised authority over the nations. Likewise, we are given exceeding great and precious promises by Jesus that He is with us always, even unto the end of the age. We know that if we must walk through the valley of the shadow of death He is with us to guide and comfort us. He is the one who has given us the promise of eternal life. Whenever we encounter those who are without hope, we share the blessed hope that Jesus can make all the difference in their lives. We share that the God of all comforts will comfort them. We share that the peace of God that passes all understanding will keep watch over their hearts so that they need not be overcome with worry. In every situation, Jesus is up to the challenge of providing a future and hope for those who look to Him. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
