Thank you for visiting our church's website. The Federal Way Church is a church made up of a diverse group of people from different nations and backgrounds, united by our desire to know Christ and to make Him known. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever. He still reveals Himself to the world by the holy scriptures and by the working of His Holy Spirit. While we are not perfect, we serve a God who loves us perfectly. He desires to bring love, joy, and peace to all people if we will receive Him. He has invited us to join Him in His mission to put our love into action.

Fear not.
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." — Psalms 4:8
One aspect of the believer's inheritance in Christ that we can experience in this world is peace. Peace—or the lack thereof—can exert a tremendous impact on every area of our lives. By "peace," I mean being free from fear or anxiety about both the present and the future. Romans 5:1 states, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God." Peace with God is the starting point of our journey, not its end.
Because we have peace with God, we can trust that all things are working together for our good. When we are conscious of being in God’s will, we are freed from external sources of fear. God wants us to have the reassurance that we are under divine protection; in fact, Scripture contains over 365 references telling us not to fear. These verses record historical accounts of people, as well as God speaking directly through His prophets, encouraging His people to not be afraid.
All Scripture is given for our instruction, teaching us that God does not want us to live in fear, but to trust in His love and provision. Our responsibility is to study the Word and allow it to speak directly to our current situations. In the Scriptures, we are told not to fear when we encounter enemies, for the Lord our God fights for us. We are not to fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day. We do not need to fear scarcity, want, nor things present, or things to come.
It is powerful to note how many times Jesus told people to "fear not." Often, when Jesus spoke these words, people were facing seemingly hopeless situations—such as weathering a violent storm at sea, or witnessing a loved one face sickness and death. Jesus came through for them then, and He will come through for us now. When we face problems, we can surrender them to Jesus, confident that He can handle them no matter how overwhelming they may seem.
