Mission:
Weisser Park’s STEAM mission is to create passionate, innovative, lifelong learners able to collaborate to solve complex challenges and unstructured problems through a deep understanding of the extraordinary interconnections between all arts and sciences.
All stakeholders of Weisser Park Fine Arts Magnet School fully support Indiana's Priorities for STEAM education. While integrating STEAM instruction into daily lessons, unit designs, and extended learning opportunities the ultimate goal of our instruction is to develop among our students the foundational skills of collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity. Our focus on these skills has allowed us to engage in collaborative and meaningful professional learning that helps us design engaging curriculum for our students. We are confident that we are creating passionate, innovative, lifelong learners able to collaborate to solve complex challenges and unstructured problems through a deep understanding of the extraordinary interconnections between all arts and sciences.
