The goals of the Core Support Program are to:
Foster student independence by helping each student develop the skills and confidence needed to be as successful as possible.
Monitor each student's progress toward meeting their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals while providing the support needed to successfully complete their courses.
Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with students, families, general education teachers, school counselors, and other staff members to ensure consistent support and student success.
Teach and strengthen essential learning skills, including organization, study strategies, self-advocacy, executive functioning, problem-solving, and effective learning habits that promote academic and personal growth.
