Volunteer at Maloney Library

Calling all book lovers! Volunteers are welcome and needed at the library!

Please email me @ jjow@fusdk12.net if you are interested in helping in the library.

Some of the things you can do to help at the library and make a difference for our students are:

• Xeroxing/cutting bookmarks (each student gets a bookmark at their weekly class visit - they love to color them!)

• Covering/helping process new books - all the students look forward to the latest books in their favorite series!

• Repairing "well-loved" books so we can get them out of the book hospital and back into circulation

• Bookfair preparation - helping xerox/collate/staple flyers and other prep work for Bookfair

• Assisting during Bookfair - helping students find their favorite books and stick to their budget!

• Other misc duties as needed

Please note: All school volunteers must submit a new volunteer application online with CiviCore and upload a valid photo identification each school year.

New starting 2026:  Returning volunteers must set up a new CiviCore account (using a different email than prior years). Volunteers are required to complete the Keenan Mandated Reporter online training and submit the certificate to CiviCore for approval.  The Keenan account setup instructions and training process can be accessed through CiviCore under the Resources tab.
