JLG Bookmark Contest
They announced the winners. There were over 2,000 designs! Unfortunately, no winners from our school. Maybe next year! However, one of the designs from Green appeared on the website!
Author's Night w/ Mai K. Nguyen
Author's Night with Mai K. Nguyen was so much fun. She is the author of "Anzu and the Realm of Darkness" and "Pilu of the Woods". If you haven't read it, come to the library and check it out.
"Anzu and the Realm of Darkness" quickly became one of the most popular books in the library. Anzu's adventure in Yomi is filled with Japanese folklore, Shinto mythology, and Spirits (Yokai).
In this heartwarming story, "Pilu of the Woods", Willow is struggling with her emotions. She runs away into the woods and meets Pilu. A journey with Willow and Pilu brings you messages about coping with grief, facing your feelings, and learning to forgive yourself.
Ms. Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Japanese American graphic novel artist who was born and raised here in Fremont.
