Return to Learning Plan 2021-2022

Dear FCSD Families:

We are excited to welcome our students back to school in just a few short weeks. Our goals for this school year include:

Providing a safe, healthy, in-person learning environment for all FCSD students and staff.

Providing the highest quality instruction and social-emotional supports.

As we look forward to the upcoming school year and our return to in-person instruction for all FCSD students, please review the Fulton City School District's Return to Learning Plan 2021-2022, which is contained within this site. Essential information related to the new school year can be found in each of the following topics:

Our current Return to Learning Plan is based on what we know, as of today. At present, The New York State Department of Health, the NYS Department of Education and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have recently provided guidance for schools to open for in-person learning while taking precautions to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on students, staff and the community.

These guidance documents provided the foundation for the health and safety protocols within the FCSD Return to Learning Plan, and they are linked below for your review:

We also recognize that what we know today is guaranteed to change, and will review and evaluate our plans frequently in light of the most current local infection data and any changes to County, State, and Federal health guidelines. We hope that this site will provide a convenient, single source for all of the COVID-related information your family will need to ensure a safe and successful school year; and as updated information becomes available, we will clearly indicate when those updates became current.
