How to open up a requisition (Job Posting) in recruitment
Login to UKG
Go to Recruitment Gateway
Under Opportunities select ‘Closed’
4. Use the search bar at the top to find the position
5. Once the position has been found, check the box next to the position title
6. Then select Clone
7. Then navigate to Opening Information and enter the FTEs needing to be hired for
8. Scroll down to the bottom, Under Comments (Impact to staffing plan) leave an explanation for your requests
i.e. Addition to staff due to higher business needs or replacing John Doe.
*If you have more than 1 FTE for a replacement req. you will need to list everyone being replaced with every FTE requested.
*If no Explanation for Request is listed the opportunity will be denied.
9. Then navigate to Compensation, Change Employee Type, Schedule, Salary/Hourly and Rate if necessary
10. Then navigate to Recruitment Process, Under Opportunity Contacts list the following:
Recruiter: HR Recruiter
Hiring Manager: YOURSELF
Onboarding Owner: HR Recruiter
Supervisor: The Position Supervisor
11. Scroll Down to Approvals, select Add Another Approver until you have a total of 4 approvers
Your approvers should be listed in the following order:
1. Department Director
2. General Manager
3. HR Director
4. HR Recruiter
12. Select ‘Submit for Approval’ once approved by all, the position will be posted.
FOR APPROVERS
An email will be sent with a link that will open up the requisition, please check for Explanation in Notes and FTEs before approving.
Approvals can also be viewed by logging into UKG > Administration > Recruitment Gateway > Opportunities > Pending Approvals
*If denying a request please make sure you put in the notes why the request is being denied.
