Applying to Project PRISM is straightforward. We are looking for TK-12 educators, future teachers, and university faculty eager to lead the way in STEM AI literacy.
Application Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026
Notification Date: No later than April 22, 2026
Priority Status: While all districts are welcome to apply, priority is given to applicants from our partner districts:
Fullerton School District
Fullerton Joint Union High School District
Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District
No prior experience in AI or data science is required. We are looking for:
TK-12 Educators (Teacher Fellows)
CSUF Pre-service Teachers (Undergraduates or current Credential Candidates)
CSUF STEM-Ed Faculty (Faculty Fellows)
Accepted Fellows must be able to attend all in-person sessions at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).
Stipend: All PRISM Fellows receive a financial stipend for their participation.
Hands-on Experience: Build, evaluate, and use AI tools specifically for teaching and learning STEM.
Collaborative Design: Co-design lesson materials and pilot activities with a peer network.
Equity Focus: Project PRISM focuses on Critical AI Literacy, empowering fellows to interrogate the 'why' and 'how' behind the tools.
Parking: The cost of parking will be covered for all six days for participants.
