1) Discover College Options

  • Once you know your intended major and your top priorities-explore what colleges best serve your top needs & priorities. Here we have a few different search engines and college search tools to help you cast a wide net of colleges to consider applying to.

  • Part of your research should also be taking advantage of prospective college representatives.

2) Determine Chances

  • Recognizably, this is the most stressful part of the college application process. Many times our dream schools are also highly selective, and it may be difficult to figure out the intersection between colleges we want and colleges we have a chance at. This article will help guide you through using Naviance and other search engines to help give you a well-informed snapshot of your chances of getting in based on your academic profile. That said, what is far more important than selectivity is finding a good fit for you. In this space, we also hope to offer alternative colleges that offer just as enriching of a college experience as the popular ones. College is just one of many stepping stones into your future.

3) Create Your College List

  • Find and add colleges to your college list, thinking which schools will be on your likely, target, reach, and dream school list. Once your list is done-you are ready to start your application process!
