Naviance: Applying to College


Congratulations! You are ready to start OFFICIALLY applying to colleges! Remember-you must complete your application through TWO portals: Naviance & (Common App/UC Portal/Other Portal).

The Naviance Portal manages TWO PARTS of your Application:

  1. Transcript - Naviance automatically forwards your High School Transcript to your prospective colleges

  2. Teachers Letter of Rec - Naviance is where you request teachers for your Letters of Recommendation and where teachers upload their letters of recommendation

WARNING: ONCE YOU ADD A SCHOOL TO THIS SECTION, YOU CANNOT DELETE IT. Your guidance counselor can go into the backend and delete it for you. Nevertheless, do not add schools to this list UNTIL YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SURE you want to apply there.

NOTE: You may be unable to add schools or work on the application until Fall (when your guidance counselors changes your profile from Junior status to Senior status)
