We know moving is stressful enough, without worrying about your water supply. We at First Utility are here to help things go as smoothly as possible.
Are you an existing customer moving within our area?
You can stop by our office located at 101 Scott Lane, Elizabethton, TN. 37643 from 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday excluding holidays and set up a new account. If your new property has a water meter please bring a photo ID and/or a rental or lease agreement if applicable. Contact our office for fee information.
Are you a new customer or your new property does not have a meter?

How DO I Apply For Water service?
An agreement for service contract will need to be signed by the customer and there is a non refundable service fee that is required to be paid at the time the customer signs up for service. This fee is based on your credit.
Required Information:
1. Property Address
2. Identification (State Issued ID)
3. Date service is to be connected
4. If Rental/Lease - copy of rental/lease agreement required
Are you moving?
You will need to let us know when you are moving in so we can bill you correctly. If your new property will require or already has an existing water meter, a quick phone call with one of our representatives will complete the steps necessary to have your service ready when you need it.
Please note : Due to a surge in local construction, if your property does not have an existing water meter, joining our construction schedule at the earliest opportunity will help insure your meter is set on-time. Our office can give information on fees that may apply.
Final Bill?
Should you find yourself leaving our fair District or moving to an address where water will no longer be your financial responsibility, providing this information will assure accurate and minimal final billing:
