Early College is a program designed to support students as they work towards earning the Indiana College Core (ICC). Providing 30 general education college credits, the ICC allows students to get a jump-start on college, saving students time and money. Students who participate in Early College also become better prepared for college through their dual credit college courses and specialized advising. Some of the supports students receive as an Early College scholar include:
CCR period with other Early College students and an Early College Teacher
Cohorted English and History class to build reading and writing skills in 9th Grade
Cohorted English and Chemistry class to build students' readiness for dual credit in 10th Grade
Access to Vincennes University Learning Coaches
Guest Speakers from colleges and professions
