Attention Juniors and Seniors!
Don't miss out on this opportunity! Admissions representatives from colleges and universities are coming to FC this fall and want to speak to you! We are also excited to introduce Career Chats which will feature a wide variety of potential career options.
Below you will see a list of colleges and employers visiting FC. College representatives will typically give a short presentation about the school and tips on applying. They will then typically have a time for you to ask questions about the college so that you can get the info you need to decide whether to apply and how to apply! Employers and career reps will talk about what it takes to enter the career field, opportunities for advancement, and how this could fit into your life plan.
You must sign up at least two days in advance of the visit! You can attend up to a total of four college rep visits/Career Chats per year.
A pass to attend the college rep visit or Career Chat will be delivered to you in class before the visit.
Join the College and Career Readiness Office on a variety of Field Trips throughout the school year!
All Juniors and Seniors are welcome to sign-up. Students are then selected to attend based on a combination of factors, including GPA, attendance, disciplinary standing, order of sign-up, and participation in the 21st Century Scholars program.
Keep checking back for more Field Trips! 🚌 ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

SAT/ACT TESTING: To test or not to test?
Some universities no longer require an SAT/ACT score. This is called “test optional.” However, it is still recommended to take the ACT and/or the SAT at least once because many scholarships ask for test scores. Please check university websites for more information. SAT fee waiver information can be accessed directly through the College Board. Contact your school counselor for information on ACT fee waivers.
FC will offer the ACT on September 6, February 14, and April 11.
