This scholarship is for Texas residents who plan to major in any area of Family, Consumer Sciences at a Texas college. Must have completed 1 or more years of FCCLA coursework in high school, 85 GPA, essay, test scores, and 2 recommendation letters
American Chemical Society Scholars Program

The American Chemical Society Scholars Program is a scholarship for African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students who plan to pursue an undergraduate degree or 2 year degree in the chemical sciences or chemical technology programs. Candidate must show evidence of financial aid on the FAFSA. Selection is based on GPA of 3.0, leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and review of personal statements.
The Spouses' Club of the Fort Sam Houston Area Scholarship - Local Scholarship

The Spouses' Club of the Fort Sam Houston Area Scholarship is for a graduating senior who plans to attend a college, university, trade or technical school with a valid military ID, and dependent of an active duty or DOD civilian assigned to Fort Sam Houston, Camp Bullis or one of their tenant units. Essay, transcript, community service and recommendation letter.
Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship

Amount: $5000
Candidates for this award shall be daughters, sons, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, great-grandsons of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion: April 6, 1917 to November 11, 1918 or anytime after December 7, 1941. Applicant must complete 50 hours of community service while in high school.
San Antonio A&M Club Foundation Scholarship - Local Scholarship

The San Antonio A&M Club Foundation Scholarship is for high school senior graduate of a Bexar County high school and who has been unconditionally accepted to TX A&M College Station or Galveston. The Horatio Alger State Association Scholarship is for seniors planning to attend a 2 or 4 year university who are involved in extra curricular activities. Students display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Financial need.
Executive Women International Scholarship

Amount: $2,000 to $10,000
Application is open to female and male students planning to pursue a business degree or professional field of study. Selection is based on but is not limited to, the following: 1) financial need, 2) socially, physically and economically challenged adults, 3) displaced household with small children, 4) family responsibility, 5) work history, and 6) well-defined goals.
Air Force Sergeants Association Scholarship Program

The Air Force Sergeants Association Scholarship Program is for Uniformed Services Dependent children pursuing undergraduate degrees. Sponsors must be Military members, Joint Services Enlisted and Commissioned Officers currently serving (Active duty, Retired or a Veteran of the military.
