Desmos

Desmos is an online calculator tool, but it is also one of the most robust math tools out there today. From basic calculator tools to an entire suite of classroom activities and learning tools, Desmos is a fantastic app for making learning visible for students.

Mimio

You may or may not already use Mimio in the classroom, but did you know that you can still use the software and the incredible features remotely? Mimio is a fantastic tool for making learning visible for students (there is even a database with ready-made activities!). Take some time to check out these great resources created by Jeannine Freeman and the tech department!

Snip & Sketch with WeVideo

Snip & Sketch is an easy to use tool that allows you to take quick screenshots, annotate on them, and then save, copy, and/or share. Geometry teacher John Zinsmeyer takes it one step further, using WeVideo to create content for his math students.

Jamboard

Jamboard is an interactive, collaborative whiteboard app that is made by Google. Jamboard acts like an interactive MS Paint or Google Drawing with a slew of cool features you can use to make learning visible for students. Best of all Jamboard is available in our FSHISD Google Domain. To access this tool, simply click on your waffle (or 3x3 matrix) in the top right hand corner of any FSH Google app page.
