EdPuzzle

Edpuzzle is the ultimate distance learning tool. We now have the premium version. Record yourself giving a lesson or grab something from their robust network of educational partners, edit the video (yes, legally!) down to a length that works, and embed questions directly into the video. For this age level, you should just send links to the videos with questions or notes since you don't have Google classroom.

Flipgrid

Flipgrid is a great tool where you can have students respond to questions with videos. Educators have free access and links are easy to share.

Newsela

Newsela allows you to combine key literacy skills with other content areas on 5 different reading levels.

Swank

Swank K-12 Streaming is a convenient, controlled, and connected streaming platform that will allow you to incorporate high-quality films into lesson plans. Our library includes 200 films for educational support, including top feature films, documentaries and foreign titles and we can request up to 30 more! The content is curated specifically for educators based on the movies they need for lessons, and provides access both inside the classroom or for assignments outside of the classroom.

You can even assign the movies to students to view on their devices - perfect for the remote learning situation we find ourselves in.

WeVideo allows you to record videos for future viewing. You can utilize this for flipped lessons, reading stories, giving directions, and more. You will sign into WeVideo through ClassLink using your Google account.
