BrainPOP (Jr.)
Utilize BrainPop to have students watch videos, play games and take quizzes. The campus general login in on our Parent/Student Resource Page. You could send these by QR code or title to your parents using your parent communication platform. Once they click on the link you send, they will sign in with the school account and be ready to go.
ClassLink
ClassLink is the best place for your child to access all of their accounts. Login information for tools will be sent to you via Bloomz or email.

Curbsmart is the tool used for parent pickup in the afternoon.

Edlio is where your professional website is located. We ask that you at least have a picture and welcome message to parents and students.

EdPuzzle
Edpuzzle is the ultimate distance learning tool. We now have the premium version. Record yourself giving a lesson or grab something from their robust network of educational partners, edit the video (yes, legally!) down to a length that works, and embed questions directly into the video. For this age level, you should just send links to the videos with questions or notes since you don't have Google classroom.

EPIC Books
EPIC books provides a huge digital library of books for students. Teachers get free accounts. Home access is blocked unless you sign your parents up with the free premium version available until the end of June. My recommendation would be to reach out to parents and say you plan to add them to this resource and ask those that don't want to be added to let you know.

GoNoodle
Great resource to share with parents to keep kids moving while at home or help them breathe and relax. Parents can create their own accounts and this information is on our Parent/Student Resource Page. You can also recommend your favorite classroom videos or have them take pictures of themselves doing GoNoodle as part of their daily activities.

Google Meet
This is a great to have Face-to-Face meetings with your students and parents. Here are some ideas:
set regular hours that you will be online
students can come and go
have "circle time" just to talk out what they are feeling

GooseChase
GooseChase is a platform to help you create digital scavenger hunts for your students. We have a premium account at Fort Sam Houston. To access your premium account, go to Goosechase.com and sign in using your school email address (@fshisd.net).

Headsprout (Kinder Only)
You set this up just like you do A-Z. This program helps develop reading skills.
Hyperdocs/Choiceboards
Hyperdoc choice boards give your students choice in activities. You can link many different things all in one document. I would recommend using Google Drawings or Google Slides to create these.

Lucid Press/Chart

Microsoft
Office 365 is a suite of resources used for business. Included are One Drive and Outlook.

In the classroom you have a Mimio Bar for whiteboard interactivity as well as a Mimio View Document Camera.

Seesaw (PreK-1)
Seesaw is the official LMS for PreK-K. You will need to make sure your account is activated in Seesaw for Schools by emailing Jeannine. You will then need to import your own students using full username and student ID.

Swank
Swank K-12 Streaming is a convenient, controlled, and connected streaming platform that will allow you to incorporate high-quality films into lesson plans. Our library includes 200 films for educational support, including top feature films, documentaries and foreign titles and we can request up to 30 more! The content is curated specifically for educators based on the movies they need for lessons, and provides access both inside the classroom or for assignments outside of the classroom.
You can even assign the movies to students to view on their devices - perfect for the remote learning situation we find ourselves in.

Vooks
Vooks is a digital library of video books. Books are animated, have sound effects and highlight the text as it is being read aloud. Parents can sign up for 1 month free at https://www.vooks.com/. You can also create a free teacher account HERE. For students to use your account they need your username and password though so I wouldn't recommend doing it that way.
WeVideo
WeVideo allows you to record videos for future viewing. You can utilize this for flipped lessons, reading stories, giving directions, and more. You will sign into WeVideo through ClassLink using your Google account.
