If you live in Deerfield, Sunderland, Whately or Conway, you are an in-district student for Frontier Regional.
Please complete the registration forms below and return them to Mary Lapinski in the Guidance Office.

New Students - School Choice
If you live outside of Frontier Regional School District, you can apply for a School Choice spot. We accept school choice students for all grades, provided there is space in the class.
Please complete the School Choice Application below and return it to Mary Lapinski in the Guidance Office.
Priority will be given to applications received by February 3, 2025. We will consider applications received after this deadline on a first come first served basis based on the availability of space in that grade level.
Once admitted as a school choice student, you are guaranteed enrollment through graduation. You do not need to reapply each year. If you leave Frontier and attend a different school, you will need to reapply to return to Frontier.
If you have any questions about the school choice process, please contact Mary Lapinski.

Visiting Frontier Regional
It's natural to be curious about your new school. We have several options for you to get to know Frontier before your first day.
6th Grade Step-Up Day
All incoming 7th graders (including those accepted as school choice) are invited to Step Up Day in June. Students will have the opportunity to meet the 7th grade teachers, see the classrooms, and attend an Activities Fair to see what extracurricular clubs and activities are offered at Frontier. Additionally, there is an Ice Cream Social for all 7th graders before the first day of school. This is another opportunity to meet the 7th grade teachers and see the school. Dates and details for these events are shared directly with families.
Building Tours
We are always happy to schedule individual tours for new students. To request a tour, contact Mary Lapinski.
School Counselor Meetings
Your new School Counselor would love to meet you! This can be especially helpful if you are entering as a high schooler and have questions and concerns about your schedule. Contact Mary Lapinski to schedule a meeting with your School Counselor.
Shadowing
School Choice students may request a Shadow Day that allows them to attend classes with a Frontier Regional student for the day. Shadowing is not always possible, but we will do our best to accomodate you. If we are not able to schedule a Shadow Day, we will make sure you have a building tour and a meeting with your School Counselor instead.
To request a Shadow Day, please fill out the form below and return it to Mary Lapinski in the Guidance Office.
The last date for Shadow Days is the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. After that point, we are happy to schedule a building tour, but we will not be able to accomodate a full Shadow Day.
