SEAL OF CIVIC READINESS
This seal is verification that a student demonstrates the mindset of a participant in a democratic society. It is also a pathway towards a regents diploma if a student has failed to secure a passing grade on the required 5th regent exam.
SEAL OF BILITERACY
The goal of the seal is to encourage the study of languages and affirm the value to diversity in a multilingual society. The award is given to high school Seniors who have attained a high level of proficiency in the three modes of communication (Interpretive, Interpersonal, Presentational) in English and one or more World Languages. (Students who may speak another language at home may also pursue the Seal.)
