What is Mrs. Granrud reading? The Experiment by Rebecca Stead (recommended for 4th-5th graders). I'm only on page 40 and the main character, a sixth grade boy named Nathan, is growing a tiger tail! It turns out he is an alien from the planet Kast and his family is here on Earth for an experiment. Now his family is being called back to the Mothership, but Nathan doesn't want to leave his best friend, Victor. This book is Fiction for sure!
