1) Strategy Description: The Instructional Coach will support collaborative planning efforts during those planning times.
Expected Results: The increased detail in lesson plans will show improvements in scores on any of the BAS tests, including STAAR scores
2) Grade level team members will add the 4 essential questions/answers to their personalized lesson plans.
Expected Results: Increased use of the 4 essential questions during planning will show more targeted instruction based on what students know.

1) Strategy Description: Meet to discuss MTSS for academics and behavior with each grade level at least 2 times this year.
Expected Results: Increase in positive behavior.
2) Strategy Description: During bi-weekly CASA meetings, student behavior/consequence concerns can be addressed with necessary parties.
Expected Results: Teachers will feel heard and understood about discipline concerns AND there will be a time to address what is being (or not being) done.
3) Strategy Description: Follow district expectations for the implementation of Year 1 for PBIS.
Expected Results: Increased positive interactions staff-to-student and student-to student

1) Strategy Description: Staff will read 2-4 articles regarding students in our demographic categories and with particular emotional disorders
Expected Results: Staff will develop an understanding of our demographic makeup in order to better respond to students.
2) Strategy Description: Staff will participate in a Twitter chat to raise awareness of different demographic challenges.
Expected Results: An increased awareness of demographic groups that are different than the staff's.
3) Elliott will provide a professional development training to address demographic groups and how staff interact with those students.
Expected Results: An increased awareness of different demographic groups and an adjustment to the interactions between staff and students.
