Goal 1: We will close the achievement gap.

Performance Objective 1: During this school year, students performing below level in math and/or reading essential standards in Grades 4-5 will receive targeted effective instruction delivered by a Title l Tutor up to three days per week to show at minimum one year growth.

Evaluation Data Source(s) : Title 1 tutor schedule, Title tutor lesson plans, assessment data to show growth

1) Strategy Description: Using the Comprehension Toolkit, the tutors will address essential standards in Non-Fiction texts. Using the Jennifer Serravallo resource, the tutors will address essential standards in Fiction text.

Expected Results: Increase in DRA scores and scores on Reading Snapshots, CFA, and STAAR Reading.

2) Strategy Description: Increase student achievement on Math Snapshots, CFA, and STAAR Reading.

Expected Results: Increase scores on Math Snapshots, CFA, and STAAR Reading.

Performance Objective 2: Sustain systematic schoolwide implementation of a professional learning community.

Evaluation Data Source(s): Increased student achievement reflected in STAAR scores for the 2018-2019 school year.

1) Strategy Description: The Instructional Coach will provide on-going-job embedded professional learning and coaching to build capacity in classroom teachers to be able to meet individual needs of at risk students.

Expected Results: Teachers will be provided with resources and instructional strategies that will benefit all students but in particular those at risk.
