Hi, my name is Amy O'Shea, and I am delighted to be teaching fourth grade this year! This marks my thirteenth year in education. I taught for eight years in Virginia and am now in my fourth year teaching in Texas. I graduated from Old Dominion University in Virginia with a degree in history and political science.

My husband, our fourteen-year-old daughter, and I moved to Texas six years ago from Virginia Beach. My daughter will be starting high school this year and will be a member of the Panther Creek drill team, the Silverados!  We are all so excited about this!  In my spare time, I enjoy crafts, reading, spending time with my family, exercising, and taking care of my plants and cats. We have two adorable cats named Tigger and Talulah.

Over the summer I started my own YouTube channel with some fun read alouds to share with my students.  My cats make frequent appearances in my videos.  Follow along @mrsosheareads
