Hi, my name is Jacquey Huelster, and I am thrilled to be back for my second year of teaching! I proudly graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in education. Wreck ‘em! I am originally from Amarillo, Texas, and moved to the Frisco area last summer.
At home, I have one beautiful niece and another on the way, and three sweet puppies named Gracie, Henry, and Izzy, who keep me on my toes. In my free time, I love to escape to the movies. I’m a popcorn, pickles, and peanut butter enthusiast – I could munch on them all day!
My passion for teaching was ignited while volunteering at a camp for people of all ages with special needs. The experience was so rewarding that it inspired me to dedicate my career to working with kids. My ultimate goal is to become a special education teacher.
Fun fact about me: I’m a type 1 diabetic, and I embrace the challenges it brings with a positive attitude. I can’t wait to make a difference in my students' lives this year!
